goforaloop Studios is easily accessible by BART (24th Street Station), SFMUNI (24th Street & Potrero Avenue Stop) and by car (101/280 North/South Interchange). Plenty of street parking available in the area.

$10 venue fee
$5 entry per game
$5 for spectators, no exceptions

A NOTE ABOUT CVS2: CVS2 will be played on SEGA NAOMI (ARCADE) hardware. We will be playing using Japanese SuperGuns and joysticks, specifically the Sigma 8000 series. These sticks will have Sanwa buttons and Seimitsu joysticks. We will try to swap them out for Sanwas, but no promises are being made. The SuperGuns have DB15 ports, so if you want to bring a PS1/2 stick and use a Tototek adapter, feel free, but we cannot guarantee the stick will work. Tototek adapters are typically wired for only four buttons as far as we know.

The game will be played on Asus VH236H monitors using a high-quality line doubler. The line doubler adds ZERO LAG to the video signal, but the LCD display WILL add some lag. We don’t know exactly how much lag the display will add. We expect the lag to be minimal, but we’re telling you in advance to expect it. It should be playable.

RULES/REGULATIONS

1. Don’t be a dick.
2. Wristbands must be worn at ALL TIMES and displayed IMMEDIATELY when requested by staff. Failure to comply will result in ejection from the venue.
3. Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited. This is an all-ages event, and illegal substances are illegal, doofus.
4. Clean up after yourself.
5. Do not block the driveways or entries/exits.
6. Do not smoke in or outside of the gallery. Please walk up to the street and smoke at the curb.
7. All games are 2/3 up to Grand Finals, which are 3/5, except for:
   1. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, which is 3/5 all the way through Grand Finals.
   2. Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Capcom vs SNK 2 and The King of Fighters XIII, which will be 2/3 all the way through Grand Finals.
8. Snapback glitch is allowed in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
9. The usual STA tournament rules apply; please familiarize yourself with them if you aren’t already.
10. Casual stations may or may not be available after tournaments based on tournament needs. Sorry guys.
11. Match recording is not permitted without approval from organizers.
